High quality residential care

HS4L are very proud that both of our care homes are Excellence in Care accredited, and rated Good by the Care Quality Commission.

Staff are on hand 24 hours per day, 365 days a year, delivering individual support packages to assist with personal care, providing nutritious meals, help with shopping and accessing the local community.

The residents have their own bedrooms with en-suite facilities and each room is furnished and decorated the way they choose, with personal possessions and technology.

Relatives are actively involved in the care of their family member and formal arrangements are in place to make sure that relatives can be also involved in decisions relating to care.

Everyone in our homes is encouraged to express themselves, share their opinions and have a say in day to day activities.

We continually strive to provide Excellence in our services; to go above and beyond expectations and to always be aligned with our core values.

Our team believes that:

  • Our residents are at the centre of what we provide.
  • Residents have a right to live like anyone else in the community.
  • Services such as ours should recognise the individuality of adults with disabilities.
  • Staff will continually strive to provide Excellence in all our services.

Our Philosophies of Care aims to support the people in our care to achieve:

  • Sharing places with other people – to go out into the community using the same facilities as others.
  • Choices about their lives – from where to live, what to do, where to go, what to eat to what to wear.
  • Skills and competences at different things to help them live fulfilling lives.
  • Respect and dignity.
