The house is conveniently placed to enable residents and staff to visit the many attractions in the town centre, including high street shops, cinemas, pubs, restaurants.
The committed staff team, many of whom have worked in the home for over 10 years, work closely together to provide a high quality service and a home for life.
Briardene achieved a Care Quality Commission rating of Good following their last inspection.
Briardene achieved the Excellence in Care award after their first assessment in January 2020 and proudly passed their review in 2023.
Our daughter/sister, Alison, has been part of the Briardene family since 1994. The staff & residents are long term which has enabled relationships to be formed & trust to be gained.
Prior to the pandemic, Alison enjoyed activities in the community, members of staff took her on weekend city breaks & European holidays. During the pandemic the staff are to be commended on prioritising everyone’s health & safety proving their commitment to the residents. They also encouraged Alison to take part in family Zooms & phone calls & facilitated visits when the rules allowed.
