March has been a busy and exciting month at Harrogate Skills for Living, with learners making the most of the season and getting involved in a wide range of activities.
With spring in the air, everyone has enjoyed getting creative with a variety of spring-inspired arts and crafts. From bright colours to seasonal designs, it’s been wonderful to see creativity flourish and confidence grow. In the kitchen, learners have also been busy cooking up delicious meals, developing their skills and enjoying the rewards of their hard work together.
There have been some fantastic outings too, including visits to Knaresborough and Coldstone Cut for the Out and About group. These trips offered a great opportunity to explore new places, enjoy the outdoors, and build independence and social skills in a supportive environment.
The allotment group have been busy with a lot of spring jobs including planting lots of seedlings.
Keeping active has also been a big focus this month, with lots of energetic gym sessions helping everyone stay healthy, boost wellbeing, and have fun at the same time.
To top it all off, learners came together to support Comic Relief by baking and selling red nose cakes, raising money for a great cause.
It’s been a month full of creativity, activity, and achievement—well done to everyone involved!
