Learners at the Harrogate Skills For Living day centre have kicked the autumn term off with a bang! We started with a brand new timetable in September filled with lots of new groups but also returning favourites including arts & crafts, cooking and the out and about group.
The out and about group have enjoyed days out to Leeds, Ripon and Knaresborough to name but a few places, Our different cooking classes have been busy using lots of home grown ingredients from our very own allotment and have made dishes including warming soups and delicious frittas. Whilst our baking group have made some moreish sweet treats for us to enjoy.
One of the new sessions for 2025/26 is the rhythm rebels group which is a fun, interactive music jamming session. Learners have explored the drums, decks and guitar so far this term. The different arts and crafts groups have been busy working on a host of projects - we are very lucky to have such an incredible bunch of creative learners at our day centre that create some truly wonderful and unique masterpieces!
