This year’s Skills Bridge annual residential trip saw our learners heading over to the SCONCE campsite, just outside Baildon, for 2 fun-packed days in nature without a mobile phone or a comfy bed!
The activities were organised by the team at Go Wild Outdoors, who put together a busy itinerary to keep everyone entertained. They took us on a journey through archery, axe throwing, primitive fires, team building (with and without hula-hoops!), shelter building, whittling and bread making over an open fire. The group dived into all these experiences with enthusiasm and open minds. Taking themselves out of their own comfort zones and supporting others to do the same.
The memories of laughter and fun will live with many of us for a long time.
