We were very lucky to be 1 of the 14 local organisations chosen to receive a grant from the Harrogate Brigantes Rotary Legacy Fund last week!
Harrogate Brigantes is a group of like-minded friends working together to help local and international communities, while also having fun along the way. They are part of one of the largest humanitarian organisations in the world, with around 1.4 million members spread across 200 countries and geographical regions.
The presentation evening took place at Oakdale Golf Club on Tuesday 19th November where 14 charities and community groups from across the Harrogate district were awarded sums ranging from £400 - £10,000.
Our CEO Hadyn said "We are delighted to have been awarded £2300 from the Harrogate Brigantes Legacy Fund. The money will go towards new decking and seating at the front of our café to provide an outside space where customers can watch the world go by. It’ll also make it obvious to new customers that we’re a cafe and all are welcome!"
