You may well have noticed all the work going on at what was the 'big red bike shop' - attached to the Odeon cinema! Our wonderful contractors OKS construction have been working hard over the past 3 months and they've finally finished all the major work. We're left with a few finishing touches to complete but have been trying things out with students and a few VIP customers over the past couple of weeks. The feedback has been great and we're very excited about welcoming everyone once we're fully open.
Upstairs has been renovated into 3 rooms - 2 for student teaching and 1 for staff and they look super modern and fresh. Our Skills Bridge programmes will be run from here and students will be able to gain the essential knowledge and skills they'll need to get paid employment.
If you visit you'll notice the lovely murals we had done with the deliberate 'chocolate' theme - well, it is the Harrogate Chocolate Factory Cafe after all! So please do come and visit for a drink and cake - oh and chocolate of course.
