This weekend our amazing team of carers held a “day at the zoo” at Brackenley Care Home for all the residents.
The day started with a specially printed out ticket to hand out at the door for entrance to the zoo.
The team at Brackenley bought some blow up animals on amazon for the attractions and wrote on giant coloured card animal facts so they could read them out to the residents.
The residents enjoyed a tour of the “zoo” and then sat down to play a card came of “guess the animal” at the table!
Everyone then visited the tuck shop to enjoy a bag full of sweets!
Residents and carers enjoyed wearing the animal masks and all the staff had personalised name badges to make the day more realistic.
