Dignity Activity at Briardene!

23 March 2020

On the 7th March 2020 our residents at our Briardene Care Home participated in a Dignity T-Shirt Making activity.

This activity was centered around Dignity Action Day which was celebrated in February and is brought to you by The Dignity in Care campaign which core values are about having dignity in our hearts minds and actions, changing the culture of care services and placing a greater emphasis on improving the quality of care and the experience of citizens using services including NHS hospitals, community services, care homes and home support services.

Our residents explained what they did...“We chatted about dignity, but we were not sure what it means so we decided to use our own words, staff helped us so that our words spell out the word ‘Dignity’.”

Thank you and well done to our carer Leanne and the team who devised and supported an enjoyable and memorable activity for all our Briardene residents!
