Brackenley, home to 13 adults with learning support needs offering award-winning care. The friendly home has a fantastic location in Harrogate with excellent transport links and access to local shops and attractions.

The Excellence Squared assessment recognised that “staff knowledge, attitudes and behaviour being one of the home’s biggest assets.”

Brackenley has a sensory cabin which provides stimulation and enjoyment for the residents. Multi-sensory environments have been shown to have significant benefits for adults with learning disabilities – including promoting relaxation, improved communication and social skills, not to mention general happiness and well-being.

Brackenley offers award-winning care and has achieved a Care Quality Commission overall rating of Good with Outstanding for being ‘well-led’.

Brackenley has held the Excellence in Care award since 2017 and passed their 3-year review for the award in February 2020.
